FAQs
1. Can I install peel and stick tiles by myself?
Yes. Our peel and stick tiles are designed for DIY installation. Simply measure, cut, peel off the backing, and stick them onto a clean, smooth surface without the need for grout or special tools.
2. What surfaces can these tiles be installed on?
They work best on smooth, clean, dry, and non-porous surfaces such as painted walls, glass, ceramic tiles, metal, and smooth wood panels.
3. Can I install them over existing tiles?
Yes. Peel and stick tiles can be installed over existing ceramic or porcelain tiles as long as the surface is flat, clean, and free from dust, grease, or loose grout.
4. Are these tiles waterproof?
Yes. The tiles are water-resistant and suitable for kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, laundry rooms, and other areas exposed to occasional moisture.
5. Can they be used behind a stove?
Yes, but we recommend keeping at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from direct open flames or high heat sources.
6. Can I use these tiles inside a shower?
We do not recommend installing peel and stick tiles inside shower areas or places with continuous water exposure.
7. How do I cut the tiles?
Most tiles can be easily cut using a utility knife, heavy-duty scissors, or a tile cutter, depending on the material and thickness.
8. Will the tiles damage my wall when removed?
When removed carefully, they typically cause minimal damage. However, results may vary depending on wall condition, paint quality, and installation duration.
9. How long do peel and stick tiles last?
With proper installation and maintenance, peel and stick tiles can last for many years while maintaining their appearance and adhesion.
10. Can I install them on textured walls?
For best results, we recommend installing them on smooth surfaces. Heavily textured walls may reduce adhesion performance.
11. How do I clean the tiles?
Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
12. Do I need additional adhesive?
No. The tiles come with a strong self-adhesive backing, so no extra glue or mortar is required.
13. Can the tiles be used in rental properties?
Yes. Peel and stick tiles are a popular choice for renters looking to upgrade kitchens or bathrooms without major renovations.
14. Will the color fade over time?
Our tiles are designed to resist fading under normal indoor conditions and maintain their appearance for long-term use.
15. How many tiles do I need for my project?
Measure the width and height of the area you want to cover and calculate the total square footage. We recommend ordering 10% extra to account for cuts and installation adjustments.
